Lucknow. Security has got stuck in the T20 Legend League match to be held in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Due to lack of force, the Lucknow Police Administration has refused to allow the match. Permission has been denied due to Vishwakarma Puja on September 17, Chehallum on September 18 and the start of the assembly session on September 19. This match was proposed to be held at Atal Bihari Bajpai Ekana Stadium. The police has issued an order in writing to the organizers in this regard.

In a letter issued by Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Piyush Mordia, it has been said that permission was sought for the T20 Legend cricket match on August 18, 19 and 21. Mordia, in a letter sent to the co-founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket, Raman Raheja, has said that Vishwakarma Puja is on September 17. Chehallum is on 18th September. At the same time, the assembly session is starting on 19 September.

Proposed matches on 21st and 22nd September have been allowed
It has been said in the letter on behalf of Mordia that during this period, police forces and officers have been employed in Lucknow Police Commissionerate to maintain peace and security. Therefore, it is not possible to provide police force for cricket matches. In view of these circumstances, matches of the proposed T20 Legends League on 18 and 19 September cannot be allowed. Permission has already been given for the proposed match on 21st and 22nd September.

This tournament will also be played on the basis of T20 format.
It is noteworthy that this tournament will also be played on the basis of T20 format. A total of 4 teams are taking the field in this. All of them will play 2 matches against each other. In this way there will be 12 matches of this league. After that a qualifier match will be played between the top-2 teams. Compared to its league round, 5 venues are to be held at Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata, Ekana in Lucknow, Arun Jaitley in New Delhi, Barabati in Cuttack and Jodhpur. The matches of the qualifiers are also to be played in Jodhpur. The venue of Eliminator and Final has not been announced yet.
