America In 2012, theaters had announced that they would give movie tickets on their ‘National Cinema Day’ i.e. on September 3 at the cost of 3 dollars (about Rs 239). Following this, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and cinema halls across the country have also decided to celebrate ‘National Cinema Day’ in India on 16 September and give tickets for Rs 75.

According to the report of ETimes, at present, the average ticket price in the entire NCR is between Rs 200-300. People will be able to watch the movie by buying movie tickets worth Rs 75 in around 4000 cinemas across the country including PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Mirage and Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K and Delight.

MAI said in a statement, “On National Cinema Day, audiences of all ages will enjoy watching a film together. The day also celebrates the successful reopening of cinemas. Thanks to the audience who made this possible. This is an invitation to the audiences who have not yet seen the film by going to the theaters near them.

Many great movies released in theaters
The association also claimed that India has a thriving domestic film industry and has seen the fastest recovery in the film business across the world. It is further told that in the first quarter of the year, theaters have done well. Hollywood movies like ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘RRR’, ‘Vikram’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ and ‘Doctor Strange’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ were released in this quarter.

You will be able to see the film in theaters for Rs 75
