Makers of 'Ram Setu' accused of copying research work, historian warns of legal action

Actually, a Punjab historian has claimed that his research work has been taken up by the makers without any permission.

This historian is Ashok Kumar Kainth, a resident of Punjab, who is currently working in Sri Lanka. He is the head of the Department of Ramayana Research Committee, Sri Lanka. He says that the main character of the film ‘Aryan’ is based on his life. Also, the makers have copied his research work without permission. He says that he did research on Ramayana facts in Sri Lanka and the same is shown in ‘Ram Setu’.

The film could have been better
According to the news of the Indian Express, Kainth says that if the makers of ‘Ram Setu’ had discussed this topic with me, then this film could have become better. I have worked on this subject at the grassroots level and I know a lot about it. I will take legal action against him regarding this. Let us tell you that ‘Ram Setu’ has been directed by Abhishek Sharma. In the movie renewable Along with Nusrat Bharucha and Jacqueline Fernandez were also seen. This film was released on the occasion of Diwali. The film is also getting good response at the box office. The film has overtaken in terms of earnings from ‘Thank God’ released simultaneously.

Punjabi Historian Kainth is a resident of Banga town of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district. He works on tourism projects.
