Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is now in discussion about his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan Season 7’. So far 3 episodes of the show have come, in which many celebs have participated. Meanwhile, Karan Johar has reacted to the fading shine of Bollywood films. Karan Johar says that although it has become a challenge to drag the audience to theatres, the notion that Bollywood is over is completely wrong. Johar said that a good film will always do well at the box office.
Karan Johar said, “A good film will always work. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ have earned big. We have also seen ‘Jug Jug Jio’ earning well. Films that are not good can never do well.” Johar’s film ‘Jug Jug Jio’, which released last month, was successful in earning more than Rs 84 crore. This film is currently being shown on Prime Video.
Karan Johar further says – ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ both had earned more than a hundred crores in theaters but their shine faded in front of South films – ‘Pushpa’, ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF2’. Went. Johar said that he is hopeful that upcoming Bollywood films starring Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan will bring back the box office.
He said, “It is not that easy now to drag the audience to the theatres. You have to make sure that your film, trailer, campaign, everything is good enough that the audience comes to the theatres. You have to put all your strength. It’s a challenge and I love challenges.”
