Aman Gupta of Shark Tank wants more outfit options for Season 2: “Spend money and buy some clothes,” according to the public.

Shark Tank India has gone on to become one of the most popular television programmes in the country. From jokes to viral videos by influencers, the show’s judges, dubbed “sharks,” are everywhere. The sharks are all successful businesspeople who have been well-known in the industry for years, if not decades. The show is currently in its final week, and six of the seven’sharks’ convened for a virtual talk on Tuesday on the show’s official Instagram profile to commemorate the occasion.

Aman Gupta of Shark Tank wants more outfit options for Season 2: "Spend money and buy some clothes," according to the public.
Aman Gupta responded to the running joke about ‘sharks’ wearing the same outfits on the show, saying he wants more outfits next season.

The show’s host, Rannvijay Singha, discussed media inquiries with the sharks throughout the talk. When asked what he would change about the show’s format, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at BoAt, answered, “Maybe the clothes!”” “People say itne paise show me laga rahe ho, thode paise laga ke kapde hi khareed lo (People say you have spent so much money on the show, spend a bit more and purchase some clothes),” the entrepreneur remarked with a giggle.”

The remark was made in reaction to a show running gag in which some viewers have questioned why the sharks wear the same attire for all five programs in a week. This could be owing to the fact that all episodes televised in a week are shot in a single session or on a single day, according to insiders. The lack of a change of clothing, on the other hand, provides the appearance that the sharks are wearing the same uniforms over and over.

Following this hilarious remark on the broadcast, the entrepreneur added another thing he thinks should be altered. “But truly,” he remarked, “I’d like more informed pitchers,” referring to some business owners who exaggerate their profits. “If they came more prepared, it will be better,” he said, referring to fellow shark BharatPe co-founder and managing director Ashneer Grover’s well-known temper. Otherwise, Ashneer bhai will not spare them if they engage in oot-patang (abnormal behavior).”

Aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of “sharks” for financing on Shark Tank India. When several’sharks’ are interested in the same business, a bidding war can ensue. Aside from Aman, the show features six other sharks: BharatPe co-founder and managing director Ashneer Grover, Sugar Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh, founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar, and MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alag. The first season of the show comes to a close this week.
